• Computer Science and Engineering is the high-tech academic area, where ICT, the core for our future, and related H/W and S/W are researched. Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ewha is performing advanced education and research in overall computer engineering areas. It aims at nourishing female S/W experts with academic abilities and has been training and producing numerous talented S/W leaders for the past 40 years.

History

Our Department of Computer Science and Engineering has the longest history in computer science area in Korea. It was founded in 1981, and has produced about 2500 alumni so far.

Future

To produce advanced S/W engineers that the industry expects, we have most up-to-date education environment, and perform high-level education and research. To meet the changes of industry demand, we run project-oriented education programs. Graduates of Ewha’s Computer Science and Engineering program are emerging as global women leaders in IT, distinguished by their creativity, practical skills, global awareness, and international competitiveness.
